Maxi's grasp of how the internet functions on a transmission protocol level is truly stunning. But this is kinda nice since he clearly have no idea of the connections that can be made to him, or how.

Of course, it doesn't matter if Maxi logged in from his computer, we know definitively that somebody was logged into Maxi's Facebook account, Maxi's Skype account and the Rastafari Pokerstars account at the same time.

At first I thought Maxi was just some really dumb kid who thought he had a bright idea for a scam, one he could get away with.

But his involvement in this thread is not just a little bit disturbing, basically "I did it, can't prove it, nothing you can do about it" which has a distinct pathological ring to it.

IMO it's got future-neighborhood-cat-killer/ex-gf stalker personality disorder written all over it.

The funny part is the counter blog. It's funny because even if Maxi did have some SEO skills -- and right now I don't think Maxi has the intelligence required to blow his nose -- the SEO-fu it would require to knock this thread off the main page is ridiculous. I'm quite sure I couldn't and I know people in the industry for a decade who likely couldn't.

It's also funny because, combined with the sudden absence of Maxi posting in this thread, tells us that he is beginning to panic really, really hard. The blog is pure, unadulterated desperation spew. Maxi is now aware he can no longer flaunt that he did it while claiming there's nothing linking him to it.

You could knock it off the first page of results quux, but it would probably require around the same amount or even more money than what he actually took.

$500 to 1k per result worth of good back links might do it though. But there are what, 9 or 10 results on page 1 of google that would need to overcome this thread? And if anybody bought backlinks for this thread, 10% cost would negate his work in theory (so he'd have to outspend the community at a rate of around 10-1 if the community cared to wage a spending war on back links).

All theoretical/kind of off topic/obviously not practical for him.

Sorry to hear about this to those involved. Maxi is scum, but I think the decision to x-post this in NVG should be made by johnboy7541 when he next has a say in this thread.

Reason being as soon as scam threads open up a tonne of people jump in blindly and there's potential to scare the culprit completely off doing the right thing (not that he's shown any indication of doing that, but still).
