anyone knows a good less known 20min tv show like archer or arrested development? looking for something to watch while cooling off between HT sessions

jspazz, my vote would go to something like Parks and Recreation or Party Down for something similarish to Arrested Development (well written funny short shows with good acting).

parks and rec is good (ron swanson is the best thing about the show) , also community is rlly funny

anyone else a little disappointed with the first ep of game of thrones?

kinda disappointed. but looking forward to ep2 after that ending with arya and king robert's bastard together.

now that i read the book it seems kinda odd how many boyish actors are playing manly roles..
danies bloodriders look like they should be playing vampires with feelings instead of tough barbarians.

I was disappointed, but probably because I've never been so excited about the second season of a TV series before. S01E01 was pretty weak too cause they had so much to introduce, hopefully it'll pick up.

Also, beyond the wall looks STUNNING.

I'd say 30 rock is way up there. There are a ton of seasons and it never takes itself too seriously.

Any love for madmen ITT? I just can't get enough of that show and I have no idea why.

Also to anyone who is a fk'ing nerd, Battlestar Galactica is probably my favorite series ever and there are like 100 million hours of it to watch.

30 rock is really, madmen is an excellent show, I would never recommend BG to anyone but I loved it.

my two recommendations for shows to watch:

1) THE SHIELD - a lot of people in OOT were recommending the show so i decided to start watching it. it's a great cop show... on the same level as The Wire and Breaking Bad IMO. I'm about half way through season 3 and i'm so happy that there's 7 full seasons in total!

2) LOCKED UP ABROAD - it's a national geographic documentary series about people getting in trouble while in foreign countries. most of the episodes are about people who get caught smuggling drugs and getting sentenced to jail in 3rd world countries. some episodes are about people getting kidnapped or things like that. the person tells their story, and there is a reenactment by actors. but the reenactments are very well done and not cheezy at all. most of the episodes are available on youtube (some are not available to watch from outside the US, but still about half of them should work for everyone).
