Those were my rules but if people think certain ones should be changed then it's open for discussion obv. We want it to run as smooth as possible. I'll ask around and see what people think; if people do think it's a bit too sketchy.

one question- wouldn't it be kind of nightmarish to set up a pre-arranged match with a specific player at the $5-HUSNGs? those things fill up so quickly that no matter how closely you coordinate with the other person, there's a pretty high chance of ending up playing against a random. i'm not gonna play this one but i'm probably interested in the $50 tournament.

i'm guessing everyone who is going to sign up would be willing to play higher than 5s so its kinda up to you if you'd rather save rake but deal with the hassle of quickly filling lobbies instead of playing 50s or whatever limit youd like. its really just a suggestion to play 5s and each pair can play any limit they'd like

Yea i think that's fair. I doubt there will be any problems anyway but i guess if you add that, then his decision is final. Should probs add that if there is any problems setting up the games, then you should post here asap giving all the details etc. That way Chicagory can see for himself.

btw we should make a ruling on quitting early since it's more cut and dry in sngs (we know exactly when you've locked up a win prior to playing 31 games). are we allowed to throw in the towel before 31 games is over? should we be required to play out 31 games in the spirit of the tournament and to let prop bets go through smoothly?

i guess what i mean is that they're rarely going to play 31 games because once someone wins 16 its a lock, so i'm not sure if that's a problem with anyone since it does say 'play them 31 games' in the OP

Oh i see, yea i mean it's upto the players i guess if they want to continue for fun or educational purposes but once you hit 16, you should be able to stop IMO. Should probs get a mod to add that then :P

rule 9 should be changed to 4 or 5 days to complete the 31 games (or less if u hit 16 wins earlier). If u 2 tabled, and played less then an hour a day u can finish this easily in about 4-5 days or less.

I would be willing to finish this in 1 day if my opponent agrees to playing that many games.
