Hi,

I recently started playing 30s along with my 15s games but I realized I need to profile better my opponents at those stakes as play is mostly different from 15s. For 15s I have done this with good results, but for 30s I don't have enough data to derive meaningful results, I do have lots of my 30s games from last 2-3 years ago but play has changed a lot since then.

I am looking for a kind soul that would be willing to share hand histories at 30s, I realize privacy is an issue so I can provide a script that will erase from said histories own hole cards as I am only interested in analyzing opponent tendencies. Needless to say I will share any results I will obtain.

Please send me a message if willing and able to help!

Oh well, never mind then, guess I'll collect the data the old fashioned way, playing a load of them games

If you're looking for population tendencies, then one thing you could do without violating any rules is working together with some friends with larger databases to look at what their stats are - for instance, how many hands is the average person opening from the button, calling against an open, etc. Then you put all these together and create the average.

It may even be ok to swap hand histories if you completely anonymize them - remove opponent names, tournament IDs, time of play, everything that could be used to identify some opponent. Not sure whether that's allowed, though.

Unless you are replacing their names with Identifiers like Player00043, you are losing valuable information. You can't do much without knowing which are the same players and which are different.

I was thinking about something like that global alias thing that was discussed here a couple of months ago. And you can replace all opponent names with something like "Villain".

Of course, you should apply any filters such as "only non-regs", "only people that you played less than N games against" prior to this.

This is too generic for my purposes
What I could live with would be various classes of villains, I need to know some villain basic stats (like opening freq at 20-25bb / 13-16bb and a few more) in order to get meaningful results.
I probably would not need hand id/tournament id except for making sure I have no duplicates in database

Another thing I could use this data would be neural networks instead of bayesian estimators for preflop play, in this case I would need no hand id/opp id whatsoever, just the tournament hands in order so I have complete preflop play info for the last 2/3/5/7/9 orbits. The goal in this case would be identifying spots where opp will likely call wide or tight in a spot based on gameflow

Another thing where I could live without most of opp info would be analysing various flops, both IP and OOP, at various stack depths. But for this I will need quite a bit of hands.

Hi,

I'm willing to exchange poker hand histories (I have a few dozen million hands that I've built up mainly by exchanging hand histories, as I'm doing some statistical research) but those hands need to be anonymized so that we don't go against poker rooms rules.

To anonymize I have been using hhanonymizer.com but you can also use a local script provided in another post:

Let me know if interested,
Thomas
