It depends. Against what player are u playing? and regarding what stack depth are you talking about?. For sure you should study optimal preflop gto ranges to have an idea about the optimal button strategy but other than that you can play very exploitable against most recreational players and regs with small VPIP.

Limping btn in husngs is super important. If you're trying to play without limping you're leaving tons of money on the table.

Is this really important for deep stacked play. I only really consider having it at around 20ish BBs. Sometimes I won't have one until 15 BBs or so.

Well if you only MR/fold at 15-30bb you will either play to low vpip or open yourself up to be very exploited to 3b. Sure if your opponent is overfolding to MR we should exploit that to the maximum. But as soon as you play a somewhat aggresive or thinking player you better have a limping range. Does the range have to be balanced? Only if our opponent is balanced. But you should have some kind of deafualt strat against regs and fish. Then learn to deviate from this according to your opponents ISO nai, ISOs, FvMR, 3b and post flop stats. Many programs that can help you with that but don't know im allowed to mention them here.

So, only having a MR/fold range is not to be recomended. Do you have to randomize your limp/mr combos? Nope. GL

I'm not an expert deep, but I think at 40-50 it doesn't really matter. At 30 and below though you're definitely making a big mistake by not limping.

Unless you're talking about a bot you use while you play, why wouldn't you be allowed to mention programs here???

New here, i didn't want to make recomendations for prorgams in my first post. For a beginner coffecalcs whould be a good tool to start with to understand the problems of no limps sub30 bb.
