No history, villain is rec.

Do you keep betting turn against draws and weak pairs? I did not expect his move and it looks quiet strong. However we are shallow and there is money in the pot now

PokerStars - 15/30 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): 11.97 BB
BB: 21.37 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8 7

Hero calls 0.5 BB, BB checks

Flop: (2 BB, 2 players) 2 7 3
BB checks, Hero bets 1 BB, BB calls 1 BB

Turn: (4 BB, 2 players) Q
BB checks, Hero bets 2 BB, BB raises to 19 BB, Hero 8bb left?

Yep, I would continue on this runout.

And without reads, I just fold the turn. Hero is not even on the top of his range here.

Smells like turned 2p or slowplayed 2p to me. If he does this w pair+draw, well played sir.

I might be nitty in this spot, but turn raise is usually pretty strong (unless reads tell you otherwise). Although, I have seen some weird clickbacks ott w 1p hands... And this is a shove, so he might actually be protecting his hand. Q2, Q3 would make a lot of sense for villain here.

I don't think, that you need to level yourself in this spot without any reads (maybe pop tendencies, but they are just too general, and first one has to obtain them hehe).
