Yea letting go of cable pisses me off to no end. The team finally had an identity and if jano makes a 30 yd fg at the end of the zona game, or they hold onto the big lead in the jags game...or show up at all vs the ****ing niners then they are probably playoff bound and cable still has his job.

Something like 27 fas this year and 10-15 starters or key contributors and no one is happy about cable being let go. Lechler went off on a huge rant on al and the next day a new punter is signed. Time to find out if al's ego is big enough to cut arguably the best punter ever (stat wise for sure) in favor of some scrub bouncing around off practice squads.

I can't be too upset tho, it's the first time I've gotten to watch a meaningful raiders game in december since like 2002. If al doesn't botch his hc signing the afc west should be wide open next year (if there is a next year). Kinda sucks being the first team ever to go 6-0 in the division and not make the playoffs tho.
