August FastTrack Program

Hey guys. I'm really excited to be taking over the bulk of the work for the FastTrack Program starting in August. Throughout July, I posted a lot of strategy in the FT forum. I felt it went very well, and the students seemed happy with my efforts.

Before my poker career took off, I was going to be a teacher. I've always had a knack for teaching, and I enjoy seeing my students get results from our work together. I hope you will consider investing in my version of the FastTrack forum.

I will be taking over 80-90% of the posts in student threads. I will have Mers chime in occasionally on super-nerdy math **** . Like with Mers, you can expect your posts to be answered within 24 hours.

We will have a thread strictly for questions directed to Mers. He is super-busy with his new job, so no 24 hour guarantees here...but he will get to them within a few days for sure. Mers will also still be posting a few articles here and there, and will occasionally be involved in student threads if/when he has time.

I am excited about a new goal-setting, motivational program that we will be trying out this month. I think it's easiest to just quote from the FT forum directly to explain it:

I will record each session with Camtasia...I want you all to be able to look back at yourselves after a few months and see the gradual improvement.

Success is about setting goals and reaching them. I want "success" to be the theme of this forum moving forward. You guys have been prepped for success by one of the greatest poker minds in husngs, now let's realistically work towards each of you having something to show for your hard work."

Im pretty interested in the read-only part, since I think I could definitely brush up a bit on some math problems regarding the game. I think $140 might be a bit much though, is there any way I could get a look at one of the pages on the fourm, or something like that? Also, do you accept payment through Lock Poker?

as a prev user i can guarantee you the existing threads alone will more than be enough to justify spending that much, especially if math and super turbos are what you are looking to brush up on.

Keep in mind that [big pieces of many of] the articles will eventually be available in public for free. If you're really concerned about whether read-only is right for you, don't do it.

People are weird at valuing things, though, as evidenced by some rumblings at the start of this thread (I'm not sure how many of those people were just trying to **** potential students over by giving them bad advice, and how many were only misguided in their estimations). I think for the amount of coaching you're getting for that money it's actually somewhat ludicrous. But I could be wrong and I want everybody to make their own individual minds up. Read-only is a bad idea for some and a good idea for others.
