I play 15.- hyper hus on stars and I know the sample is very small but can anyone who is experienced in those games have a look at my current graph? I am hovering around 50% ITM and rake kills me. Doing anything terribly wrong or "just" variance. The yellow line is ICM adjusted.
Thx but that's a rather meagre reply for a few hours of analysis :-) Could you please elaborate on that? The question was: Am I doing something terribly wrong here to be hovering around 50% ITM and by now I am 20 Buy ins down within 350 games shy.
Hey, there's not enough info on there to really read into much, that's mostly why they're trolling you. A few things:
- Sample size is tiny, even if you were crushing we wouldn't be able to say with a ton of confidence that you're doing great. So same applies here.
- Looks like you're running a little bit bad, but your expectation is negative, so you weren't anticipated to win money on this sample with even luck.
- We can't really go into why you didn't do well over this small sample, whether it's bad play in any # of areas, tough opponents, bad hand/board distribution, etc.
With some more stats, some good players *might* be able to speculate a bit and read into your play a little and give some advice. But, it'd be the most useful for you if you just post a couple of hands. Post a few big pots readless early in a game, post a few hands that you feel are common/standard situations that you feel you played perfectly (not like AA vs KK AIPF, but just like 3betting a hand you feel is in the middle of your range of a 3bet, or a triple barrel situation you feel is standard, etc.) and let's see what feedback you get. That'll help you the most.
