HOLD ON HOLD UP HOLD ON GUYS

Dear lord no one in the poker world understand the red line anymore. HM2 is correct here if this is a $15 hyper. (please let me know if it isn't)

1) $15 hyper has $.62 rake total, leaving a prize pool of $29.38
2) this pot is for 960 chips which is 96% of ^^ 29.38 x .96 = $28.20. That's the amount of prize pool this hand is being played for.
3) you got it in this hand w 73.1% equity. good job, but that doesn't mean you deserve 100% of the pot in EV
4) the EV you earned is 28.20 x .731 = $20.62, which means by winning 100% of the pot, you won $7.58 more than you will/should on AVERAGE.
This is 1cent off HM2 number probably because i rounded some cents to the nearest hundredth and they didnt...This is not a bad thing, both your green line AND red line went "up" for this hand/game.

What people don't seem to realize is that if you win an allin where you don't have 100% equity your red line will be lower than your green line. This does not mean your red line will go "down" (from a breakeven pov). The red line is EVDIFF. It's the difference in EV from your actual results.

Likewise if you get the money in AND LOSE, your red line will always be higher than your green line for that hand unless you go it in with 0% equity in which case they will be the same.
