You could bet 3BB to take advantage of a capped-weak range when a typical player checks this turn, should have a lot of fold equity not too worried about being blown off the equity we do have, would check T9 or 65. Always nice blocking a heart so we face less x/r but probably rare in any case.
Actually I guess the ev of open shoving in equilibrium is probably not that much worse than limping or minraising but we should not really have an open shoving range at this depth. Ev of limping or minraising will also be much much higher vs weaker opponents whereas ev of shoving will not change that much. My saying it was 'quite' bad was more about how it is a simple mistake rather than a large one.
We should raise & get it in on the flop in the case that opponent is too light with isos and cbets too much. If this is his standard cbet size we def should get it in.
Look:
- we get him to fold bluffs -> fine, means we wont get bluffed off our hand on future streets
- we get folds from AQ, KQ, KT -> great as they dominate us
- he calls KK -> ok unlucky, but thats still 20% equity
I'm not saying floating isnt ok, but we've got plenty of hands to float with. Lets raise and make a stand. We'll most likely have to bluff at some point...
He doesn't hit this board often with his ISO range. I think his range after cbet, check turn line is marginal showdown. I would be small on turn and rip it in on any blank river. I expect him to fold often with his overcards, hearts, Ax.
