what are your experiences with hyper hu 15$ stakes at stars. I just went up from 7$ and somehow i seem to only play vs maniacs. Almost everyone has 40%+ 3betshove, almost every first hand gets reshoven. Its just sick.

Nope, you're just running into maniacs. Average 3bet jam for this stake is low, specially deeper.

Is it because its weekend maybe? I played much yesterday night and friday night. Have about 260 15s so far and it was just crazy.

Can't say for 15's, but yes, weekends usually are a bit crazier. But not to such a margin, of course.
For example, 15's stats from my db that aren't too old yet:
17-25bb, 13.5% 3bet jam(9% nai with a 22% fold to 4bet, although some 3bet/call crap) - plenty people even flat Ax pre.
12-18bb, 3bet jam 22.4%
07-13bb, 30%

The stats are a bit more aggressive for average 15's reg, but not by much.

So yeah, you're just running into agressive players / rematching them a lot / card distribution is screwing with you, possibly all 3.

Pretty sure that the 15s regs shove superwide on people that look like they're moving up from being regs in the 7s.

At least, my default strat against someone whose sharkscope says 5k games, 51% WR and ABI of 7 will probably involve shoving 30%

but yeah, the general population isn't nuts. can confirm

edit: oh actually I just checked, I'll 3bnai 10% and 3bs 23%, which is less aggressive than I thought it would be

This. Have almost exact same 3bet pop tendancies at 15s for 17-25bb. (Didn't bother checking others)

I dont understand this ****.
I watch so many players reshoving like maniacs and i cant do **** but starting to limp and watch my chips go to the opponent due to aggressiveness and when someone openraises 100% against me and i start making looser 3bet shoves, it needs about 2-3 shoves max before i get called from a strong hand.
What is this ****?

I played over 1000 15$ so far and i'm pretty sure its full of extreme aggresive players, almost everyone has like 30%+ 3bet vs me, many people with good sharkscope rois even 50%+

I dont know because my holdem manager completly messed up after about 2000 games and now doesnt track many hands. I basicly only use it for the HUD now.

Thera are often regs reshoving me 4,5 times in a row until i realize they are reshoving everything, then my stack is already completly crippled. This happens extremly often.

I just get completly soul crushed, its terrible. They 3bet shove super lose vs me and i cant do anything. I tried to loosen up my own 3bet shove range vs loose openraisers but it ended up in a total mess. They just keep opening 100% as if nothing happened and call my J5s etc. reshoves almost any game with a good hand.

I dont understand how i can beat 7$ and get completly destroyed on 15$..

Edit: Well all in all i'm breakeven over the first 1,5k 15$ but still i feel like i got raped after every session

You have failed to mention that u have a very high pfr. It would makes sense people 3b jam/3nai you...

I have a small sample on you roughly 60 hands and ur pfr is 88%..

That's the thing - when I see someone with a large number of 7s played, the first thing that goes through my mind is zzzTilt's german accent saying "you shouldn't fooold any hand in the small blind reeeeeadless" - so shove city

Well obviously i exaggerated when i said i get destroyed because i was mad as fu**.
I'm like breakeven now on betwen 1000-2000 games. Unfortunatly i have no EV because my Holdem Manager is broken.

Maybe you should start to call wider then?

get pt4 trial..import hands and run ev..you can have 5%+ev roi and still be be over that sample

The holdem manager deleted the original hand histories when importing. The hands that are missing are completly gone so it doesnt work with pokertracker. Dont know what is wrong with the HEM2, i tried everything to make it running but it doesnt work.

Anyways i still have problems with handling the aggression of regulars. I use sharkystrator already to avoid them, but almost every guy with a decent roi over a bigger samplesize plays very aggressive from the first hand. I dont understand why they are check-raise bluffing or preflop 3bet bluffing in the very first hand so often.

This allready leads me to making things like that:



I didnt have reads besides that he has a positive roi over a big samplesize, but its allways the same.
I dont think this is good longterm, but i dont want to get crippled in the first hands so often..
