I know many players here hate spin and go's with one of the main reasons being it decreases action of other formats (mainly husng's).
This makes me wonder, wouldn't it make sense for amaya to consider the same format in husng's? I know this would immediately kill regular husng's, and right now it's not necessary yet as there is still plenty of rec's playing husng's. But as the games get tougher and tougher wouldn't it make sense to implement this when the time comes that the husng's reg:fish ratio becomes too great?

It would make husng's more popular than ever, and Roi's would possibly double as the player pool would become so much weaker.

Has this been discussed before, either by amaya or somewhere on the forums? I'd be interested to hear what other husng players think about this.

Is winning 2x in a 3-way game really that much more exciting? It's all about the big wins anyway for recs.

Maybe you win 90% of your money most of the time, then one in 100 times you win 10 buyins.

Possibly yes. I haven't thought of a concrete idea or anything, but obviously the format is very popular among recs (at the moment at least), so it seems like a good idea to transform this to husng's in some way at some point in the future.

Every SNG variant should be Spin and Go style, including 45, 180 man as well as regular MTTs. Who wouldn't like to have a chance to play SM for 20M pricepool? One time pls

^^ I think you shouldn't ignore cash games. They can take 20% of each pot and reward it randomly every 10-20k or so hands. Would be so much fun....

They should have spin and go deposits. Sometimes you only get 25% of your deposit, other times 2000%. Deposit now for the chance to get 2000% of your deposit INSTANTLY!

on a serious note, HTs with random prize pool doesn't sound totally stupid. Obviously no reg wants the extra variance, but if it was to increase the action significantly and had reasonable rake/prize pools structure, the variance might be worth stomaching.

I think a better progressive format would be a jackpot for winning x consecutive games. Similar to spins the size of the jackpot is relative to the buy in. I think this would drive more action.
