Don't use only one size for every situation.
When choosing your sizings, consider what you're trying to accomplish, what your opponents range is, how you think he'll react to different sizings, and choose what you think is best.
To get good at this you'll have to spend a lot of time playing and studying while thinking deeply. After some time you'll get good at doing it quickly.

Id say if someone has this question only thing you should care is stack depth and just cbet 1 size, there are million things you can work before thinking about sizings. What I mean just cbet 1/2 pot something like 17bb+ and like 1.5bb getting shallower(minraise pots) and just go 1bb limp pots and you will be perfectly fine.

I think the answer to your question lies in the principles which govern c-bet sizing, for example:
- effective stack size
- opponent's range on flop
- opponent's future tendencies (based on what they believe you have)
- what you actually have

In essence, poker is a large decision tree, and any change in branches of the tree after your c-bet affect what your sizing should be.

If you want to keep it simple... You can bet smaller on dryer boards and slightly more on wet textures.

General rules of thumb:
- Larger bet if it's deeper
- Larger bet on wetter boards (opponent will have more equity on those boards with many hands)
