Everyone feel free to blind down 31PokerGod31 (Romania, Jose Mourinho) should be find himself in some connection trouble.

We play a decent amount, he definitely knows me as a reg and was happy to start blinding me off when I disconnected at the start of the semi final of the weekly yesterday.

Less likely than 1% I guess; but better at 15s than at 1ks

Anyone tried sitting at a desk in a chair like this:

link

Just thinking I might prefer this style to a standard office desk type chair.

Can't click link not opening on my phone. But I remember someone a while back (think it was primo) posted a sick computer chair they just got. Looking to upgrade in this department, anyone got any recommendations? Looking for Comfort, ergonomics for posture etc, etc.

would be interesting to try it off, however it looks to me more like a chair for fat americans to lie down on it with beer and 1kg bag of chips on a lazy afternoon and numb their mind by watching no-value tv shows... also feels like you must sweat balls/ass/back in it during the summer

yeah it's just a cheap standard chair, but was considering this style. Yeah in the summer it would get really hot/sweaty. Though would be a pretty chilled way to grind maybe with a fan. Might fall asleep in session especially during MTTs. I wouldn't mind a massage feature though and drinks in the armrests

I am not sure. I started with HEM2 and imported all my DB into PT4. But last 1k games are with PT4 directly... Why do you ask? Does something look strange to you?

is it possible that a pop up on pokerstars prompts me to upgrade without the possibility to close the client? i usually use pokerstars.exe and not update, so might be that my version was outdated (yes, i am paranoid )

The highstakes have been always (before any groups even existed), a predatory, selective and territorial place. Kinda like an elite "league". For obvious reasons. (fish/reg ratio, level of skill, etc). Also dont think this would ever change whatever change is implemented, as its the nature of the game.

I think this is true for almost every other format, not only husngs

But what the 60$ groups were doing on a stake where there is a lot of fish was kinda stupid.
Posting my reply in here so as not to clutter the pokerstars husng improvement thread, I wasn't saying that the higher stakes should necessarily implement a similar system since like I said I don't know much about what's going on there, but I know that when $60's and $100 had subjective criteria there were people beating the cartel by a significant margin in EV over like 5k+ games who weren't getting in, if the $200's+ are the same way atm then yes I would say they should make some change in favour of more objective criteria, but maybe since the groups are smaller at the higher stakes they're handling subjective criteria better than $100's/$60's were, I don't know.

BTW I'm kind of confused as to how letting people in based off of EV results over large samples is contrary to the high stakes being "a predatory, selective and territorial place." If someone beats highstakes regs in EVROI over a large sample what more do you want to prove they deserve to be in? You wouldn't have to use the exact same #s as $60's and $100's, at higher stakes it might make sense to require higher confidence intervals.

can one of you pt4 wizards explain something for me?

if i play 50 games vs a reg, and i look up results vs them in pt4 (ie use their screen name), why does this differ from when i look up results under my screen name? both show the same number of games but the results differ?
