Hi everyone,
what's the standard thing to do etiquette wise when someone disconnects from a comfortable winning position? It's a $60 game and I've never played the guy before.
keep the money. when you disconnect, no one is sending you anything back.
Im curious, has anyone done or heard of any company proposals to launch a poker site. Like has anyone priced out how much initial investment it would cost to start a poker site (a standalone, not a skin). It surprises me that poker players have great business and investment skills, yet none of us have really made our own site (ftp doesnt count). Anyways, im just curious if anyone knows the estimated ammount it would cost. Iirc getting the RNG + software is quite expensive.
i think because starting a business like that is way out of the league of pokerpro's investment budget.
my guess would be it is very competitive.
for pro's and semipro's it's mostly about price(ie rake) and for the fish it's all about brand and promotions.
getting that brand is usually very expensive. not too mention with the worldwide variable (and constantly changing) laws and regulations around gambling and even regulations of the promotion of gambling which is another nightmare in itself.
