What chair do you grinders use? Needbeer? I know you put a lot of thought into your everyday health. I currently play 250-300 hypers a day sat on my bed using a 4 year old macbook. If I dont get a proper set up my back is gona look like corkscrew pretty soon.

For a chair I use the Steelcase Leap, I chose it because of all the customizable adjustments, especially in arm area which many chairs seem to overlook the width of the arm rests.

As for a desk, I chose a Biomorph desk for a similar reason, height adjustment with the push of a button.

P.S. When I first started grinding for a living I was playing about 12 hours a day every day on a 3 year old HP Notebook from bed. :-p I did that for about 3 months straight before I finally broke down and got a proper setup.

A friend of mine just said he hates xxx reg...isnt that a bit harsh I replied...yea youre right, I dont hate him, I just wish a downswing on him.

-Do you exercise regularly while u grind these 12 hr. days?
-How long are your sessions? What kind of breaks do you take in-between sessions?
-Do you review HH that much? And if so, when do you do it? before or after you start grinding?
-How much do you sleep per day?
-How good/bad is your social life while you grind?
-Any hobbies or is it poker 24/7?
-Do you talk lines/theory with others? If so, I could be helpful, as I have a unique view on this game...that is, I would like to exchange Skype sns

As long as you can make more playing poker than the avg. Uni graduate will make, I think you are fine with this decision. However, if you NEVER go on to finish your Uni degree, then I think you'll be making a mistake....

yeah the avg wage here is like $600/month so i do make more than most people, ive just seen how quickly poker can be shut down, and even if its still legal to play poker in 50 years, i dont want to be a poker player for the rest of my life
its just a bit scary if something happens and ill have to move in back with my parents, with no education at 25.

I have a degree ONLY b/c it's something I can always use to get me a job if w/e get-rich plans I have don't pan out and I get older and don't have as many options any longer. I didn't get the degree for my parents or to be 'smart' or w/e, it's my backup.

Your worst case: you can't play poker anymore for w/e reason. As long as you save up enough $$$ to be able to go on to finish your degree (tuition, living expenses, rent everything accounted for until you finish) then I don't see why you can't quit school now.

But I strongly urge you, Karlizl, do get your degree in time, even if it's 2, 3, 4 years from now. Poker is volatile as you know, best not to leave yourself with few options if it doesn't work out.
