Our history: she sits me constantly and owns my soul. Nothing much beyond that. She knows I'm sort of a reg, and we both know she makes mirrions.
I don't feel like I really am obligated to do so, especially as FTP refunds buyins. She said FTP doesn't do this, which is weird. I got a 980 refund back one time, so while I don't think she's a liar, I found it weird (maybe she just hasn't tried?).
Thoughts?

I mean, let's be honest 5k means a lot more to me than it does to her. I doubt she needs it as much as I do.
Sorry this took me so long to respond to, I wasn't aware of this post before.
This is really incredible.
There is a ton of flawed logic here. You're asking the community to validate you chopping the 5k, but you gloss over the main issue of conduct here, which was you chopping the 5k as your morality saw fit but refusing to do so in the 1k. Firstly, ignoring the fact that I was disconnected BEFORE you sat my 1k game and the 5k game (out of the goodness of your heart, as you say), how can you possibly think it is fair to chop one but not the other because I "can afford it"? Are you arguing that you feel I was out of line to be "bitchy" or "irritated" when you did me a huge favor in the 5k, so I should surrender common sense and ethics on the 1k?
Let me be clear in stating I would obviously be very appreciative the good-naturedness of sitting me in order to prevent some douche getting the money, but the contradictory ways in which you went about it pretty much negate any semblance of a warm fuzzy feeling here.
It is completely unacceptable, let alone hilarious, that you have somehow assigned yourself the right to judge what amount of money is meaningful to someone and what isn't. ESPECIALLY when they are two parts of the same "generousity" of yours (i.e. I'll refund the 5k but you can afford to lose 1k so ill take that one.) This is reminding me of the time
here (tangent but hilarious) where I won a prop bet and someone decided they wouldn't pay me, and instead they would give the money to a homeless person because they had decided the money "didnt mean anything to me." Lol.
It is laughable that you think a) I would be a pro on a site where I would be unaware of some operation such as refunding buyins being the norm and b) lie about it to scam 1k of of some sng grinder. I have no earthly clue what happened in your case but the only thing I can fathom is that it was a rare exception under extenuating circumstances, same as stars does (again on rare occasion). And another huge logic flaw here: Why chop the 5k with me out of concern if they're just gonna refund my buyin? Why not let some douche sit me if it wont matter cuz i won't lose the money anyway? You're basically saying you would rather have the money than the douche, but keeping it in a 5k is taking it a little too far? This is really absurd.
I cannot find the chat records as our chat was in the deal box of the 5k, but you asked me if I got refunded when I expressed outrage at you chopping the 5k but not the 1k. I expressly said absolutely not, and then you said sorry/oh well but i didn't need the 1k, or it didnt mean much to me, or something of that nature, which is just obviously wrong.
When I see regs dc'd and sit them and blind them out, or if they dc mid game, I don't skew ethics as I see fit from game to game and decide to blind someone down and send back in one, but not the other according to my view of their bankroll/their need of the money/ whether i was up chips (that only factors if you send back chip equity, which is also acceptable). Ethics are ethics and it's ludicrous to assume you should operate on some type of hybrid system where you adhere to them when you see fit.
You, as you say, are a sng reg, we have played before, you know I've played hu for ages and you post in the 2p2 hu regs forum so it's a little ridiculous that those ground ethics and conduct aren't ingrained in you by now. I have no ill wishes towards you but as far as I'm concerned you owe me $981. Whether you've decided the money is worth something to me or not is completely and indisputably irrelevant.
