OPR does not show negative profit.

FTP should have to answer to someone.

The way they treat a lot of their players, whether directly or indirectly is very poor. Same goes with affiliates, which hurts players/customers as well.

Throw in the fact that they are overseen (I use that word loosely) by the same regulatory (again, loose word) group that oversaw (or still oversees) AP/UB throughout that whole debacle, I think having MORE information public online is not only a good thing for that site, but should be required.

If there's no negative profit showing and no hand histories being collected, that's a very tough rule to be comfortable with if you play on FTP, losing player or not.

it's true that opr doesn't show negative profit, but it does show negative roi and it doesn't take much effort to figure out your negative profit from there. i should know i have done it a few times

and that is an excellent point ry. i hadn't thought of that. we really should want all that info public. but again, if i were the website, i wouldn't want the information available.

I'm considering moving to PokerStars for a number of reasons, this is the icing.. Something about the recent decision to remove all OPR entries rubs me as shady..

If they're going to go down that track, why not demand sharkscope/tableratings removes all entries too?

I wonder what they are trying to hide/cover up..

It sounds like OPR is just taking the results down until they come to terms with FTP to allow stats with their blessing.

On the other hand, what kind of limited stats do you think they will show to make FTP accept their site?

And I wouldn't be all that concerned with FTP's point of view. If big business had their way, most employees would be making fractions of what they do now and business would be self regulated. Quite the opposite of socialism and just as scary to me.

Thoughts on @ce$neverlose on FTP

accidentally sat each other in a $100, his stats are really solid but his game is so weak. He fails below 30bbs and just makes horrendous plays/calls. i thought he was generally awful. he plays $200s mostly it seems so there's an easy target right there. has so many leaks i can't begin.

he declined a chop pre-game and then i took his $ instead. I did ask managed to comeback from this hand to win.

sample of him (not bad beat story in disguise i just couldn't believe what i saw):

Full Tilt Poker $100 + $5 Heads Up No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t30/t60 Blinds - 2 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (BTN/SB): t1850 M = 20.56
BB: t1150 M = 12.78

Pre Flop: (t90) Hero is BTN/SB with K K
Hero raises to t120, BB raises to t360, Hero raises to t1850 all in, BB calls t790 all in

Flop: (t2300) 8 3 6

Turn: (t2300) 7

River: (t2300) T

Final Pot: t2300
Hero shows K K (a pair of Kings)
BB shows 9 T (a straight, Ten high)
BB wins t2300

In OPR's shoes, I'm pretty sure I'd just give FTP the finger and let 'em try and get me.

It depends whether FTP is willing to play the "fine, then you're not making money being an affiliate for us anymore" card. I think that's probably what OPR is scared of.

TakeHerOnACruise: the 3bet/call with T9o isn't as bad as it looks; depends what you're shoving over his reraise obv but suppose your 4bet shove range is 66+ AJ+ KQ his move is a little ev- but his 3bet might be ev+ and he'll put you on a slightly bigger shoving range

This is a pretty good point that I overlooked.

I don't think SS had the same type of affiliate program with Stars or FTP that OPR may have.

anyone play on Cereus.. I play $5 and $10 HU UTs as takemychai....
trying to play a thousand of them this week, is this possible?

1000 in a week
that's a fair few.
i've only ever twice played over 100 in a day.
i'm sure it's possible but 1000 in a week is a ridiculously high volume. afaik most people are pretty happy with 1000ish in a month.

edit: just saw the 'UTs' which i presume means ultra turbos. ignore what i said, i don't have any experience with the ultra turbos maybe 1000 isn't tough to do at all.
