so if I want to chop I write to chatbox: let`s chop dude and if he agrees but don`t want to go allin 1st hand, I say something in the chat and ps supportworker comes and chops the prizepool between us, not including the rake ?

lol first time I heard this.

If you want to take the 'contact support' route you simply email support@pokerstars.com with subject line "tournament chop" and give the tournie # ID and that you would like to chop. There's always a support guy/gal on your table within about 5min.

as far as i know, if you're just using sharkscope to search people and look at their stats there shouldn't be a problem. but don't quote me on this. i'm only going on the fact that i've more often than not had a sharkscope window open at the same time i've been playing and never had any difficulties. mind you i haven't played on stars for about 3 months so it's possible they've changed the policy/levels of enforcement.

i'm sure one of the more senior posters will be able to provide you with a more concrete answer shortly.

traffic at FT is at an all time low. i've been waiting in two 80s for about 30 minutes, same with guys at the 100s and 200s. what's up with that? slowest it's ever been for me.

And Chumples i haven't even been around because my computer is fcked and got a new one coming tomorrow so can't even play, therefore one less reg stealing fish fro you haha!! My suggestion at this time when action is slow is to sit the $100s or the $50s rather than the $80s because i always found there was less action at the $80's than the other 2 for some reason...

Glad to hear im not wasting my evening sitting lobbies!!!

GL man!

Thoughts on se@bird248? FT regular 200-500. I keep sitting him and he's getting pissed off with me..

I think it's 6-2 in my favour at 200s and 1-0 at 500s. But I'm not so comfortable at 500s so didn't accept a rematch. (He declines at 200s but accepted at 500s because I think he got annoyed at me constantly sitting him).

Action is always so slow at this time of day.. *sigh*

Yeah theres like no games running :/

Sit him again dopey and ill rail, i'm a lucky railbird anyway

edit - just noticed it's a 500 and not a 200 he's sitting, probs sitting there so you don't sit him lolz

haha best possible night to miss imo. there's slow and then there's wtf is up with tonight slow. yeah found a game at the 50s, having my ass handed to me haha.

speaking of 80s vs 100s, is it just me or is there way more variance at the 100s? it's like the nice round figure attracts about a million more super aggro tilto's. cause who goes to the 80s to chase their losses when they can hit up a nice 100 kinda thing. 80s seem much, i dunno, calmer? on average.

edit: just realised i was kinda asking the above Q towards mj haha, i can guess know your answer. others thoughts on 100 v 80? and i've been railing you dopey was gonna ask what thoughts were on se@bird?

Yeah, he usually sits at 200s and 500s. Now he knows I'm not that comfortable at 500s I think he'll only sit 500s when I'm around, which opens up the 200 lobby for me to get fish. Oh the joys of reg wars :P

If he was sat at a 200 I would totally sit him again, his game is too transparent imo.

Well during peak times i always found that the $80's were fine, but when it was downtime i found i had to sit $50's or $100's to get action (obv whatever your more comfortable with).

Overall i found the $80's as a funny type of game in comparison with the $50's and $100's (weird i know). But they didn't tend to get the total spazztards like you do at the other two levels. I played over 1500 @ the $80 level and it's weird because you get a LOT of people with high avg BI's who are fish, but not completely ******ed, as opposed to the $50 and $100 levels where you get a huge mix of complete ******s chasing losses a lot of the time.

I think the thing is: People keep moving up and doubling in order to chase losses. ie. they lose a $10 ---> $20 ---> $50 ---> $100 ----> $200 ---> busto. And the $80 miss out altogether, i mean there are still a ton of fish, but it's not quite as extreme as the $100's for sure. Move up as soon as you are comfortable though because it's only $20 difference and there is way more action @ the $100's.

i think it's true about the 80s. they are a weird place. you get way more action and way more fish imo at the 100s. i am not necessarily saying play is softer at 100 than at 80, but much more people playing, including ******s. 80s seem to be mostly middle of the road guys in my experience.

Since when??

Full Tilt Poker on OPR
June 2009

Full Tilt Poker (FTP) has demanded us to remove all FTP tournaments and player statistics from Official Poker Rankings (OPR) because they suddenly decided that OPR "gives players an unfair advantage" and works "very similar to how a shared hand history database works".

We don't believe OPR gives players an unfair advantage. OPR is a free site available to all players and in our opinion any player should be allowed to use OPR to follow their progress, for stacking, collusion detection, community discussions, competitions and to see how they are doing in comparison to other poker players.

All the data we collect is publicly viewable at the end of each tournament in the tournament lobby. We do not collect hand histories nor do we provide access to any hand history information. OPR has nothing to do with a shared hand history database.

We have proposed Full Tilt Poker different solutions to keep FTP tournaments on OPR and we hope they will reverse their decision and help us clear this misunderstanding soon. But for now we have decided to follow their demands to remove all FTP tournaments on OPR.

Your opinion matters.
We strongly encourage you to forward your opinion about this to support@fulltiltpoker.com

We would also like to hear your comments and feedback. Please forward to ftpfeedback@officialpokerrankings.com
