anyone here emailed FT after losing due to d/c?
i had like a 2200 to 800 chip lead on a massive douche who was berating me in chat, claiming i was a fish and that he was going to search for me all night yada yada.
i d/c'd and when i get back on the match is over
so i think whatever, fml and i register for a new game. and then the same dude sits me, and amongst other things says:
"email FT about it because they've helped me out before".
what's all that about, surely FT aren't just refunding buyins everytime someone disconnects are they? anyone else here heard of/done it?

I felt kind of scummy afterwards as I mailed them because I was really unsure if it was my end or theirs and got an unexpected bonus out of it.

I mean, if Livb112 were to want something when he was paying like $100k/month in rake i'm sure they'd do it for him. Whereas if some fish who has only deposited $50 wants a refund for d/c i don't think it's going to happen.
If you're a reg and you pay like $1k+/month in rake you'd be suprised how 'kind', they can be.

Yup I've had the exact same thing, pretty cool of them to refund me a BI.
