Still lost the match though, after he sucked out his way up to his original stack, and won the last flip, meh.

Should I punch myself in the balls for not betting river and missing so much value? FWIW, I bet every street ULTRA fast which I thought would lvl my opponent into floating light cuz Ax is a huge % of my range, but when we got to the river I though I'd check it back cuz 6X + bluff catchers made up most of his range, but then again any bluff catchers check for showdown value. when I do bet the river whats a good bet size given what i've said?

Hey Mers, how are you getting the expected ROI? I loaded my STs into HEM and the all in luck EV isnt working properly though it does for normal speed tournaments.

Yea I realized it after i posted my thought process is flawed, if he is floating with trash/Ax I don't want him folding. Im sure there are other flaws too. Im a noobie

what bet sizing do you think is optimal on river given my read on my opp

t550-650?

or overbet to induce 6X and possible herocall Ax?
***HU SNG REGS THREAD*** Quote

That's a very reads based question if you have any. There are some people where this is a good spot to induce via making a smaller bet that looks like it wants to go to showdown, give people a chance to spazz with 98/T8/float turned spade draw/random air, but since the "makes sense" portion of that range is pretty much constricted to 98/T8/T9ss, I think just shoving is probably going to be best. And shoving wouldn't be an overbet btw It's 840 into 1280 (wow that's actually even shorter than I thought, def don't underbet without a killer read)

Yea I just punched myself in the balls. Twice. HURTS SO GOOD, ITS SO +EV.

Shoving > betting >>>> checking, for some odd reason in the heat of the moment I put him on exactly Ax and on the fact that if I check he bet river, which is just so silly.

Just a random question but how many people who play HUSNG's tend to use PokerTracker or similar software...I never have because I don't want it to distract me from my feel of the game but I'm wondering if it would help increase ROI and returns?

It will not hurt your returns. What you gain from it is up to you, but given the assumption you are willing to put in time and analyze your game yes it will not only be worth it but maybe many many times over.

I dont know if it so much increases ur ROI directly or anything like that but is very good for reviewing your own game after the fact, which in turn should lead to increasing profitability etc.

Alas, TourneyLuck is an application that only works with PT3. It's kind of ****ty though anyway and HEM > PT3 in general imo (I'm a nit for not switching).
