Genuine, general, non ground breaking advice. Seems fairly true.

I would perhaps gripe with the math portion. The same negative part can be said about pure instinct players.

At the end of the day, the player that can say "a guy like this on average is bluffing 30% of the time, given his timing it's probably closer to 40%," figure out which play is best given that information and make the correct decision will always be much better than the math-only or feel-only players.

The thing is, a lot of the math guys use their actual experience and "gut" (which is really just prior experience) and a lot of "gut" players know the odds and how to use reads with numbers, they just don't quite realize it or don't know how to articulate it well.

So, that's my only minor gripe with the article, it seems a little biased and short-sighted in a few ways.

edit: i have to add, i also cannot stop sitting him, he is so horrible, calls any raise preflop with ATC, ALWAYS float the flop, no matter what he has, and i jus cant seem to hit anything, everytime i play him, it really hurts my confidence and i stop c-betting, and jus check down and fold coz i cant amke a single pair.
i think the solution is simple. i should limp more and play smaller pots, but my optimism tells me that the next time i raise with AQ, i will finally hit a pair and get stack him off when he calls me down with K high. i am still waiting for that to happen
