Hitting in right on the head. When you double the stakes you can try and convince yourself that the money is meaningless, and you will play the same way you were playing at the lower stakes. But until you actually feel that way and aren't having to convince yourself of it you will not be playing your best game. It takes time to get acclimated to new stakes, and it is very necessary in your development as a player.
Note: 220-550 is the worst jump in the world, solely because it is the biggest jump %wise(2.5x and not 2x) on either of the big sites, and the ftp structure starts with 50 bb=greater variance. I've been at 220 for almost a year now and still can't make the jump! Gl with the BR rebuild B.
