If the win condition doesn't require everyone to play perfectly, then doing so could actually be -EV.
Consider this:
You only see red hats. Why claim?
If you do so, then all of you win - so Snowwhite may decide to either make another puzzle or just pick someone randomly.
But if you remain silent, then someone will eventuality fake claim - so SW gets what she wants - and you can still claim correctly later and walk free.
Therefore, playing perfectly would be +EV for the entire group, but -EV for yourself.
