i was under the impression that rakeback is what normal ppl have and cashback is what they give to ppl who didn't sign up with rakeback but have become vip/high volume players or who beg a lot. same cash value.

Serious question for regs: Is there a legitimately good reason why HUSnG blinds should go up based on time and not hands?

Timinng-down allows players to offset their skill disadvantage by playing fewer hands while deep, which is against the spirit of the game. It's also very possible when blinds are high for a player to stall in the bb right before the blind increase. When you're extremely short, not having to pay the first bb when blinds are high is critical. This is especially true in formats where the increase is bigger. (AFAIK on FTP the jumps are smaller than Stars, but I don't remember exactly).

IMO it should be random which player has to pay that bigger bb or the first bb.

This is relevant in all games but especially in STs where blinds increase very quickly, and you can get to the 10bb level, where there is close to no edge either way, within 4-5 hands of timing down, especially if there is a raise and a defend.

So random player is in the BB every change of level? I don't get it?
