I decided to 3bet since he raises pretty much all his hands and I think it is a good hand to 3bet non all in since I can flop well and I get good credit for A and maybe K on flop and get more paid if I hit since I didn't have 3bet that much in that game.

i think the call on the river there is fine.

it's hard to put him on a jack in this spot. pretty dangerous for him to just flat the flop on that board.

you would think that a hand like JK would jam that flop.

not gonna really comment on the 3 bet pre. it's not my style to play like that... though i'm not saying it's bad.

Well he opens so wide that it will mostly be unlikely for him to rejam but i should check his fv3bet and 4bet stats again since i only want a call obv. However do you guys think that something like 74s 85swould be better to "semi-bluff" in this spot?

Definitely better to 3b nai with 74s or 85s. As played, why the hell do you check ott? I ship that turn all day and get payed by worse: draws, a weird played J, etc (even by a 7 sometimes if leveling idiot thinks : oh, I bet small otf so he thinks I have a draw, so when the board pairs he shoves with his Ahigh)

+1.
Also, as played, river is easy call until you have some serious reads, because >95% players will bet turn with any J.

74s is better to 3bet than 98o is because with 98 you will run sometimes into K9, K8, J8 etc. Also, some players will attack you on very low boards, and will hero call you on them.
