i made some sims in the past and gto defends a ton here. close to all hands.
so in the past vs fish, i wascalling for example j2o t2o 92o when he minraises
5bb shallow for example and donkjamed the flop with any hit.

but im not sure if this is the best approach. its hard to range the fish
cause i have been seen everykind of hands . but i think they lean more towards value nowadays, so maybe folding q2o is the play.

just wanna hear some opinions whats your approach when u face a
minraise from a unknown 4-6bb and maybe 7-10bb
i think 7-10bb wehave to defend tighter, cause we cant stack up with any hit
andwith 4-6 defend very light, cause we can stack up every piece on theboard

it is also important to take into consideration, that as the stacks get shallower, the ranges get tighter as well

you mentioned GTO - it is good to have this theoretical knowledge, but you should also take into consideration, that avg villain does not played mixed strategy in the first place and therefore his minr range is more value heavy (in general, unless you got some reads)

or maybe, I am totally wrong here, and your approach makes sense

you know what? I am gonna test it right now

there is one problem - even when hero hits TP or anything... even a BP... he is often dominated by worse hands

another thing - how we play shallow - is not as crucial for our winrate as how we play "deeper"

anyways, interesting thought and I am glad that there is still some theoretical discussion going on

good luck at the tables!
