HU counter strategy to over bet everytime

I'm probably being thick here, but what's the counter strategy to someone that overbets every flop or check calls every flop and overbets every turn?
Value betting and call/get it in with your strong hands is obvious but with a turbo I found myself blinding down to much to wait for these spots.
Do I have to accept the variance and start using 2nd pair hands as effective nuts and accept I'll be beat some of the time?
I know this is a bit vague but after a few games I just couldn't find away to adjust to the dudes strategy and it just must be exploitable.

i let them spew and call down w strong hands, with weaker hands like 2nd pairs weak kicker i call the flop and see whats happening on the turn, with 2nd pair gk ill cr get it in most of the times with reads.

call flop 100% then ch/r turn 100%. He'll have to diminish his agression at some point or he's dead.

make good hands, don't fold. 2nd pair hands are always the effective nuts btw.
