PokerStars - $14.69+$0.31|10/20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 26.5 BB (VPIP: 75.00, PFR: 14.29, 3Bet Preflop: 25.00, Hands: 11)
Hero (SB): 23.5 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A A

Hero raises to 2 BB, BB calls 1 BB

Flop: (4 BB, 2 players) 4 5 J
BB checks, Hero bets 2 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Turn: (8 BB, 2 players) 2
BB checks, Hero bets 4.5 BB, BB raises to 9 BB, Hero calls 4.5 BB

River: (26 BB, 2 players) 6
BB bets 13.5 BB and is all-in, fold

BB wins 26 BB

It was the first flop of the game. My reasoning was that the turn was an OESD card, but could also have given extra equity to a bunch of weird floats in the form of a gutshot, which might choose to bluff. So I figured villain's range was mostly 2pairs and straights, with some relatively small fraction of TP and bluffs.

Then on the river I figured that this card improved his already-small bluffing range, so I hero-folded.

Criticism?

nh if u call river. we block A3 pretty hard, river makes 63 also less likely, he can vbet worse etc. never folding.

Im not folding here. He will often play Jx this way and there is way more Jx in his OOP flatting range than small connected stuff which has you crushed on this board.

Either b/f turn
or c/c turn and call river as well.

I'd never ever play it like this. Cause u know, after this line, there is like 0.005% change that villain is shutting down on the river.

100% agree either you fold or shove ott never just call there, only if you have a read should fold ott like said here i think he will play Jx like that lots of time, might have 2 pairs but does the 2h ott really improved him? can be but also can have JhXh and play it like that, i think he has more combos in his 3bettting range ott that you beat that those you lose to. Any Jx except J5, J5, J2, every other Jx you have it beat, now he might peel otf w KhXh and even JhXh like i said it before.

I just think if u call the turn, call the river, readless at least, if you have a read then go with and just fold ott.
