Huh just cant resist the feeling that if the scumbag tried to pulled something like that on a resident of my country (and other eastern europe countries) he would get stabbed / beaten to death between part two and three of your story (ppl die cuz of a LOT smaller sums here) if he somehow managed to survive until part 4 and later he would prolly get raped first and then stabbed / beaten to death. The conclusion is that you should take actions for getting your cash back as soon as possible cuz he will try to pull the **** on a wrong guy sooner or later.

This douche robert pisses me off... but the people in this thread that are attacking Primordial are also pissing me off. He knows he made a mistake. Just like every person that has been scammed, but hindsight is always 20/20.

I don't understand what you expect to accomplish by flaming a well respected poster who contributes a lot to the forum. Maybe you wouldn't get scammed, who really cares, telling some random internet people you would not have gotten scammed isn't going to do anything for anyone.

He is an unknown lowstakes player from lulea,sweden. He lost his entire roll of like $5k to this guy. I can pm u with name if u want, I'd rather not write his name in public in case he don't want it..

Crazy story OP. If Robert has any sort of integrity, he'll pay you back. It may not happen right away, but I think he'll come around eventually. I went through a similar situation where I owed my backer money and for a while, I was just like **** it, I'm not paying. This feeling probably lasted for 2-3 months before I finally woke up and thought to myself, what the **** am I doing? Now that I'm starting to rebuild and pay back, I feel a million times better. Lets hope Robert experiences a similar revelation.

Both u and Robert will learn a lot from this situation. Trust me, Robert is not sitting pretty right now. I assume hes feeling a lot of pressure not only from others but pressure that he is putting on himself to rebuild his roll and make good on his situation.

I just wanted to say that I lack all but the smallest empathy for your case. Thing is, through all of this, you took the worst possible route, and handled everything as bad as possible. So bad that I just get physically agitated. The stupidity is through the roof.

YOU DIDN'T EVEN HIT THE GUY. I'm not even sure I could have stopped myself from killing him after I would have gotten that call from Stars. The only thing stopping me would probably be the dawning fact that I'm a moron.

Now obviously the guy's an *******, but you could easily have gotten off the hook with him owing you $1500 and you having no hassle at all. You wouldn't have to go anywhere and neither would he. If he wants to pay you, he will. Were you in a hurry to get the money? ... Rethorical question.

Some douchebag takes advantage of a trusting, goodhearted, successful guy that is trying to help out a fellow poker player and you blame him... you aren't showing a lot of class in this post. Yes, he could have avoided it and he was probably a little naive, but it's certainly not his fault.
