How to continue hand against opp who check-raises light? How to continue hand against opp who check-raises light?

I knew that opp check-raised light here since I checkraised him a few hands ago ang won a big pot from him. Now it looked like opp was trying to steal this pot from me with any mediocre hand. How should I have continued this hand tho? Be aggressive repping the nuts or should I play safe and fold here?

You cannot know that. How can you know that your opponent always checkraises light if you had just ONE spot where he did so before.

Flop is an easy check as you dont wanna really get checkraised here because your hand cant stand any action.

Are you betting the river for value? If so what worse hands you think will call you? If you are bluffing what better hands you think will fold, especially after the turn action?

His line looks like bs, depending on other reads and stats calling down or raising could be perfectly acceptable.

I would play the same, but check the river, you may have thin vbet against Ahi, but betting small otr vs aggro player can induce some spazz that can put you in tough spots, while I see more value in discovering his hand in this particular instance.

Toberg I suspected that I put him on tilt because I won a big pot off him a few hands earlier check-raising him and didn't show my hand in the end. So I thought that he would try check-raising light here and try to get me to fold my hand without showing his cards.

And yes deathdan his line is pretty bs I mean bet 20 on the flop c'mon! That's why I bet on the river. In the end however I was beaten as he called with a 7 with higher kicker... sucks I knew he didn't have the nuts.

What was the aim of the river bet? Looks like it folds out worse and gets called by better to me
