I think between regulars it can eventually be solved and were not that far away, against fish its much trickier since they do nonsensnical, unpredictable things
so I read his well recently and the guy acted like the one and only that approaches husngs with ranges, frequencies and game theory stuff, and now he says nonsense like that? how can u solve the game vs particular type of opponents and claim at the same time its not solved for other type of opponents lol

I think he's not contradicted himself. There's a difference between strongly solved and weakly solved. Strongly solve means that the best play has been found for every situation that may come up- even e.g. when sb limps at 3bb and bb checks his entire range- if poker is strongly solved, then the optimal strat from here would be known.

High stakes regulars playing each other are probably getting close to weakly solving the game- i.e. the optimal strategy from the starting position, and subsequent situations arising from optimal play is known. Strongly solving the game is much harder (e.g. checkers/draughts is only weakly solved), and is what you are looking for when playing vs fish.

Every1 is still really bad at hypers. I agree with alex that no1 has seem bothered to even try and solve it. This is because there still so much money to be played by playing at current standards. I imagine in the next few years a hyper ninja will emerge in his late teens who rapes every1, but for now no1 is close to this standard yet.
