I had a random shower thought last night. I feel like anytime there’s a flip with a pocket pair vs overs the overs always hit. So it got me thinking that in full ring or 6 max when you get it all in with the pp there’s less over cards to come on the flop bc other players holdings will definitely include over cards the majority of the time. As opposed to heads up all the overs are still in the deck and are more likely to come out. Is this correct? Never seen anything written about this before or any math to prove my thinking is correct. So if anyone had better insight I’d be interested in there opinions.
I mean the overs basically hit the % of time they are supposed to, they're not always hitting. You're starting from an emotional bias/fallacy point of view, that's what I meant when I said to stop there.
I'd expect it to go the other way around a little bit. 6-max or full ring, if someone had an A or K, they're more likely to have opened that hand.
So if you get it in with QQ SB v BB AK, it should be slightly more likely that an A or K will come on the board when playing full-ring as opposed to HU.
