I was curious about FT policy regarding 4man husng teams after reading about them on blog post. I sent FT an email asking if this statement was true
"As far as I know, Full Tilt still allows 4 man teams to play together, though they do have a history of inconsistent actions and wording on the issue."
so i asked does full tilt allow 4 man teams to play together? And this was their reply.
Our stance on this matter is based on the belief that playing in such a manner is against the spirit of the game. Routinely, the players who will enter 2 accounts in these tournaments will soft-play or will simply dump to the other player when they are drawn together which is expressly forbidden by our site rules. We expect players to play to win in all situations and doing otherwise is not in the spirit of the game. Any players found to be engaging in this sort of activity, or any players that make a specific effort to play in the same games with each other would routinely be restricted from playing with each other. While we understand that occasionally people who make these efforts to play together are not doing so in a malicious fashion, our stance would always be to err on the side of caution to protect our players. In terms of staking deals, we are aware that this activity occurs and would remind all players that we cannot enforce or intervene in deals made between players and such deals are done at their own risk. If these staking deals extend to situations where players are regularly playing the same games together then we would likely restrict the players from playing together or take more severe action if any direct rule breaches are found. !$#!#$, we wish you best of luck at the tables! I still don't know if it's ok or not.
