Is this an easy fold? Could he only have a queen here? Am I pot committed so I need to call only 460 more here?

The guy showed what he had on the river; I'll post the result later.

pre: i h8 raising limps with A8 unless you have reason to believe he will limp/fold since A8 dosen't play super gr8 postflop.

Flop: i think leading is okay as the flop hits our range pretty damn well but i'd bet 100 here bc i think if hes folding to a bet of 120 hes folding to one of 100.

turn: Bingo, kinda like the betsize bc since draws will call it.
River: kinda leaning towards a c/f here bc if you bet your most likely only getting called a by Tx and his range of Tx is so narrow (most of the time). and when you check it to him i never think hes going to bet his Tx hands but he could bet his air but not counting on that readless . Overall conclussion: betting to get value from a T is a bit to thin for me

ch/c is the worst possible play here
shove river

I'm not really sure why we'd want to shove the river here, but if we had some reads on the villain it'd be a little easier to decide.

I would think that if you iso'd a little smaller, and cbet for half pot instead of 2/3, it would leave the stack sizes better on the river.

Again, reads are important here.

because he won't be betting hands that we beat, he will only bet w/ hands that chop or beat us.
By shoving he might call w/ 10x, some pp, Khigh etc

this is pretty much a ship or c/f spot vs 95% of ppl and this being a $5 game I'd ship it in. Reads would be helpful since you played him for at least 10 mins

interesting, but imo he is more likely to shove Kh, small pp and ss'ed draws (89, J9, J8 etc)

why would he shove his small pp and Khigh? And villain doesn't have many draws in his range

JSAN, be nicer to people that give you feedback. Flaming the first person that responds to you in an expert tone is not a nice way for a $5 player looking for feedback to act.

As for the hand, what's the goal of the baby bet on the river? You're just reducing your value from a hand like Tx and committing yourself to giving the max against Qx.

You should have some idea of how this guy plays too, you're in the 2nd level of 10 minute blind levels, what has he done in the first 10+ minutes?

Shove or check call are almost always the best options in my view against a lower level opponent and I would shove here usually. I'd also bet a little larger on the turn against a lower level opponent, there's probably no downside to making this 280 and making the river a little larger of a pot with a little less behind.

A lot of this avoided if you check pre IMO
