so i've been battling this guy and i've been talking to a few other people that have played this guy, and we all feel like something is up. we feel like we almost never get paid off and get insane pressure put on us when we're in tough spots.

i've played a few regs but i never felt like this for a long time, we have a good sample almost 2k games and it's 100 percent my fault at the end of the day i'm not beating him but it just really really feels like something is up

this guy doesn't play the "correct" ranges and just does whatever he wants, calls off in ridiculous spots and i feel like i never get shoved into when we are shallower with nuts.

is there anything i can do other than not play him to figure this out?

i've already reported him to the site and they don't care and said he isn't doing anything wrong, but he would for sure have a higher roi than 2 percent if he actually was?

maybe it's my own issue i can't figure him out, but i've also shown him stats to a few top regs and they said the same thing that i should easily be beating this guy. nothing he doesn't make any sense

You could be running bad or your standard winning strategy might not be adapting enough vs whatever this guy is doing.

Your results won't be a perfect curve of "worse results against good players, better results against bad players" so it's not surprising at all that you might struggle against some players that aren't that great, while beating some really solid ones.

If you really think he's cheating, identify where and how he might be cheating. If he just seems to always have a better hand in spots and catch you bluffing, it's likely variance and/or him picking up on patterns you have in certain situations.

2k games is no sample whatsoever.

What makes you think you're being cheated? Just losing? Guy has 2% roi, he is either a smart cheat or you're just struggling with his style.

If you think he's cheating, post hands that are solid evidence. Speculation is worthless, and that's all this post is.

Incidentally (@Malte), if this isn't at hypers then it's a fine sample for sure. Even at hypers you're getting somewhere after 2k.
