Hey all, need advice.... looking to buy a 32 inch screen to hook up to my laptop. Im getting better at 3-4 tabling, and thus I need a bigger screen to fit games without overlapping. I also sit about 7-8 feet away from the screen in my recliner, so thats why i need a big screen. I also have semi-bad eyes and wear glasses when playing. (Some are you will probably say 32 inch is too big, but imo i need that big) So, what do you think the best screen for me would be? I'm gonna go buy one tomorrow at best buy or smthn, and needed advice from anyone here who has a nice 32 inch. Also, what price range should i be looking at for this? Any tips/suggestions/ jokes appreciated. Ill read any responses in the morning when i wake up. ty guys

I have a 30" LG Monitor that I love alot, but the point of a big monitor is a high resolution (which is bad / hard for people with bad sight anyways), so im not sure tbh ;P

Ended up buying a 37 inch vizio for $538, including tax and a 2 year protection plan. 90 day return policy, so if I end up moving to vegas because of the new NJ online poker law, I will just return it (The law will pass Feb 25th, and we will know soon thereafter as to whether FT and star will pull out of NJ). This screen is sweeeeet. Will post pic on my blog if I remember.

i was about to tell you that 32" is weak if you stay far away and you d be better with a bigger "tv".
if you really want to play poker seriously you d be better with a 24" on a desk and that would cost you much less(150$ i guess) but at the same time you arent getting a cool tv for after the grind. your laptop + a 24" with 1900X 1000 resolution is plenty of space to play 4 tables

Hahaha, I'm not sure about a wourld wide "guy", but they exisit locally. I think a more practical strategy would be to have a directory of "the guy" in each region.

I got a guy in the Dominican Republic, who can get you pretty much anything you want. He was introduced to me by an old american that lived in a the same condo complex. The guy could get you anything you want "womenz, cocainez, pots watever jew want". He was like my chauffeur, guide, drug runner, certifiable pimp, and he would take you to bars and look after you if you got out of line (saved my ass a few times). He knew lawyers and which cops to bribe (he helped a couple that got into car accident with their rental), got tourists out of jail, and I'm pretty sure he was the guy who got a tourist cop transfered for constantly shaking me down for $. Never took him up on his pimping products, but most of my time there was a drunkin haze so not sure.

get him to 2+2 and ask mods to add title of: 'supplier' instead of grinder or w/e

you say high resolution is bad for people with bad sight, why? Seems weird, I never thought of that and I wear glasses.

well it just makes thigns smaller on the screen / more pixels means a std. window takes up less space, so its harder for them to see. I prefer it, but prtty sure its bad for people w/bad vision. bad/hard for them

well fwiw you can always force a smaller resolution. e.g. I'm using a 40" 1080p TV but I force 720p on Windows coz I can't see clearly 1 meter in front of me but I hate both glasses and contact lenses
