I'm guessing doing it wrong since you somehow believe you can really have 6-10% edges vs regs in hyperturbos. Also, if my ROI vs you was -4.8% then yours would be 4.8 - (2*rake)..(edit: on second thought I always confuse myself here and go back and forth but I think it is right) It was a long time ago so I don't really care but I think you are wrong.
Ya man doesn't really matter it was quite a while ago. Duno why I started to argue even. The sample I have is 302 games tho.

This will probably happen, just the terms have to be discussed in detail.

Also, I will be obviously looking for the redline result at the end of the sample for this match.

I appreciate the asterisk in the thread title. It'll make this battle so much easier to follow.

I hope this happens. I might even bet on hyi_vam if I can get some nice odds, I definitely won't do it with even odds though

lol @ asking odds. The HU4ROLLZ should be 1:1 or hyi_vam giving some >_>.

For the sidebetting action, is anyone really willing to bet on hyi_vam @ 1:1? Line does not seem very fair. If emotionx is the favorite (and people seem to think he is), here are some proposed odds:

50.5% winrate: 1.64-1
50.7% winrate: 2-1
51.0% winrate: 2.71-1

2-1 seems like a decent line imo.

So those are the lines on me, yet 1:1 is what I have to agree?

Those are proposed lines if people believe emotionx is the favorite. I have no idea how either of you match up.

the only problem is he ****ed himself over with odds by saying he can hold a 6-10 roi, which is lol in and of itself.

don't you think you are better than emot? Like in Chadders vs Harthor, it was clear Chadd thought he was playing against a higher skill and higher stakes opponent so it was clear that he should be given odds. Here you two play the same stakes and you have already said you think you're higher skill level, so 1-1 should be fine.

Notice that community sidebetting is completely different because it is demand based--all that matters is making a bet that two ppl agree too and the way to do that is to give odds and make a line. Obviously people will be more likely to bet on emot because he's been posting in the husng forum longer so ppl have seen him around more and he has more exposure and reputation so it makes sense to have odds on the sidebetting. But this should have no bearing on the bet between you two since that is not based on pure demand but also on you two actually playing it out and so it should have to do with your personal assessments of your own games. You two both seem to think you're better, so 1-1 is the only odds that are fair.

Fwiw you should be happy to have 2p2 laying 2-1 odds on emelio since you can bet against someone at an even more favorable odds knowing that in fact you are the favorite and you're printing money by getting 2:1 or whatever. So that should be a win not a loss for you--you win by 2p2s ignorance.

hyi_vam is (presumably) a delusional fish while emotionx is a proven winning reg. How about 3:1?

you presume a lot imho. he plays a lot of high stakes games and his EV ROI is solid, just look at his graphs. I know my SS used to look like crap but i could still beat the **** out of fish regs all day. Doesn't really reflect too much on skill imo.

I agree that 2:1 is a fair line.

Re: ** emotionx vs hyi_vam hu4rolls 10k bet **

Surely if you think that you have 6-10% on him you should be willing to give him fantastic odds to make sure he signs up to play as many games as possible with you? I mean, with 10% roi over 1000 games at reasonable stakes you'd just make a ridiculous amount of money.

So unless that was bull**** then 1:1 is a great deal for you and you should be incredibly excited that he's offering it. It would literally be a snap-accept and high five the monitor situation.

Re: ** emotionx vs hyi_vam hu4rolls 10k bet **

honestly he simply asked to post on 2+2 or no HU4roll because hes pretty much an attention whore, i didnt even want to do a thread until he called me out to do it + some regs told me it would be cool

he claims to have a insane edge over me, and "raping me hard", playing me for sure, yet he wants to discuss for better odds, so i offer him to play 10k$ with his given edge. He even proved with his own arguments why he beats me, so wtf, why would i even give odds, he would give me in any case. Dude, you beat me for 6-10% roi and 10k sidebet, im printing free $$$$ for you, whats the problem

I didnt even mention in a single point that i have an edge over him (even if i think so)

i dont see anything to be discussed at all, its pretty clear whats going on here, guy wants some attention and very delusional about himself, guy makes me lose my time and the hu4roll results not going, doesnt even surprise me, kinda what i would expect as i say in the chatbox

Badmofu, you forced him to make this thread, the least you could do is accept.

Re: ** emotionx vs hyi_vam hu4rolls 10k bet **

i'm not saying that this is the case here with 6 - 10% ROI... but sometimes you can crush someone if you get in their head and your style happens to match up well against their style.

i know that there have been times when i've been playing someone in a bunch of games... and even though i know that i'm a better player overall... for some reason, this player is crushing me and i can't seem to beat them.

especially if someone puts you on tilt, and they run well initially... you might tighten up your play style thinking that this is the only way to stop the bleeding... but it results in you just getting run over waiting for cards.

also, if you make a few bad reads about the way they play... you can get beat a lot before you realize your mistake and adjust.

so it wouldn't surprise me to see an unexpected blowout at some point in a big HU 4 Rollz match. obviously i'm not saying this is going to be that match, since i know nothing about these players... but it's not out of the realm of possibility to have a huge ROI against a specific player... even if that player has had much better results.

the only debatable thing in this is, if the results will be measured by EV or green line.
any other reason to stop this from happening would be ridic imo.

im fine with results only to make it exciting enough + red lines on both parties might mess up so not completely accurate.
