Update:

Emo pulled a few rabbits from a hat and managed to even it out at the 965 games mark. We took a break to discuss if we want to chop part of the sidebet (as its now just a $10k flip). If we do - it, by no means, cancels out the challenge and any bets made between you guys. We will finish up the match, there will still be a winner and one of us will still lose money on the sidebet (not $10k tho). But its still under discussion. For now - an update.

P.S. since Emo is so keen on non existing rules, heres an existing one we actually agreed on. 2 tables minimum. He decided to 1-table last 5 games.
