looking at chips ev would be better, because you will always be able to compare your results without any troubles (b/c chips ev dont count rake, which you usulaly forget of, when trying to compare ev of each other's results)

No. 500 chips = $58.74. Chips don't magically retain rake value. True there is no ICM in HU. However, saying that "in 6max sngs your ICM EV changes even when you're not in the hand sometimes" suggests that you probably don't understand the red line and/or ICM fully. Needless to say, not understanding the red line and insisting on a $10k bet based on the redline is pretty lol.

Additionally, Ive noticed semi-occasionally that HEM imports stars HH incorrectly or has an incomplete game or 2 per session (as seems to have happened with emotionx) therefore throwing off your red lines quite significantly. Even if just 1 hand incorrectly imports for 1 or both of you and the end of the game records correctly, you may never find it. Using stars HHs at the end of the bet will be mandatory to avoid all of this, but still not 100% failsafe (although pretty close). Just another reason doing a redline bet is silly.

btw, imo you still cant say 500 chips is plain $58.74 (very good estimation for sure though), there are quite a bit factors in sngs that makes it impossible to be absolutely plain pure cEV=$EV like cash (blind increases for example), in general you can safely say cEV=$EV in husngs, but if you're a purist, it wont match absolutely 100%, at least never did for me when i translated t500 chips =buyin-rake
