I used to play loads of HT HUSNG, moved onto different games, and was wondering if somebody could summarise the current HT climate.

I imagine lack of RB killed the games somewhat, but i'm interested to know what the current sitch is, from 15s up to 1ks.

in terms of volume, players, etc etc.

Rb was never really important for hu hypers, arguably a little bit in the sne days but even then anything under sne level not really. People overrate rb impact on hu hypers imo.

Anyway basically everywhere off ps is a botfest and unplayable. On PS though the bots are more or less under control, so the rest of this post will be about ps hypers only. There's still significant action at times through 60s and 100s, but above 100s the traffic definitely gets thinner. Most of the regs I've talked to kinda think battling up to 100s could still be a legit approach these days, with super diminishing returns after that.

Players aren't that bad at midstakes I guess, but there are certainly edges still to be had and it's still very possible to move up if you work hard and play well.

Is this applicable also to low stakes such as $1 or 2$ buy-in and regular/turbo husng? Specifically I am considering starting with HUSNG at Titan Poker since PS not available here.

Excpet Pokerstars it might be dodgy but at PartyPoker as well you can find action at HUSNG's for sure,at least until you reach the $22 level HUSNG's.
I mean to play against guys that are not using a bot.

Think you're at least okay at the micros, on a lot of sites bots seem to start (?) from $11/$22 level depending. But I'm far from an expert, only play on PS and a little bit of recent exp on WPN.

How did the WPN experiment go? An aside, 1,200 us dollar games run regularly. Not sure if I always just bots playing with recs or what but they do run.

I was getting sat by presumed bots at $24s even, not sure how it is lower. All the wars you see going on at $60s, $240s, $1200s tend to be bot vs bot games with maybe a small handful of bot vs rec games here and there. I think (?) the situation at turbos and regspeeds is slightly better, but I don't know for sure.

Hey u can learn a few things there. I saw a few using 2.1x 2.15x opens etc. GTO has a bounded number of sizes each street/situation, and if it carries on much longer they can publish a joint research paper.

what "bots"? are you guys exaggerating that people use software like HUDs and sharky or are there really bots on pokerstars?

Stars is pretty good about investigating and banning. Other sites talking about players using real time computer assistance, not huds.
