Spin & Go Table optimization modifications - Heads Up SNG and Spin and Gos -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I made a thread in the software subforum for Spin & Go Table optimization modifications and thought of posting it here for all you who doesnt visit that part of the forum regulary. I hope its ok that I make this post here.

The table modifications are made for being less results oriented, less risk averse, less tilting and a cleaner feel and look.

Things that you can modify;

The spin wheel animation
The price pool field at the table
The table logo & spin logo
The "dealmaking unavailabe" message
Different colors for different multipliers

That's pretty neat, never considered nor heard anyone consider removing the table in all my years. It's kind of appealing.

Yeah it doesn't do much besides interfering with the hud placement IMO.

Or it does give you a nice "look" / feeling, but I prefer to keep things minimalist for better concentration.

I'm a lot for ergonomics and to reduce the strain on the eyes esp for some who sits at the computer a lot in the evening.

For those who are interested in that I would suggest a dark windows theme like dark agility or steam; http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/10-dark...ce-eye-strain/

Using a lights out extension in the browser and a screen filter that blocks the harsh blue light from the screen which meses up your melatonin / serotonin production; sleep and recovery which is crucial to our energy, performance, health and overall wellbeing.

F.lux is a great software for that, I couldn't sit at my computer with out F.lux or twilight on the mobile.

Does it just work for spins or can it be used for regular husng (specifically the removal of the table)? And is it safe to assume there would be no impact on other third party software like Table Optimizer?

You can do it on any theme. The table is just an image. So if you just make that image blank / transparent the table it's gone.

Just make an backup of your theme folder and then try it out on playmoney or observe a table.

And now we have the possibility to place the players at the top aswell, for less eye movement, quicker overview, and a sweater transition to the HU game / HUD. Big thanks to Max Cut.

Enjoy!

I hope alot of people will benefit from the posibility to stack the players at the top, it makes it so much easier to grind since you always focus on the same area.

- Make sure to run Tablecrab as Admin, otherwise it will decrypt the file but not create one
- Once you created the file you might have to go to its properties and make sure you have the right to change it, otherwise it wont let you safe changes in it

Idk what you mean regarding promotions, I dont see any promotions. Theres is an option in the stars panel to turn promotions on/off; settings -> tournament announcements.

I had this same issue - and once I resolved that issue, I was then not able to save the notepad file in the theme directory for the same reason (so I saved to my desktop and then copied back into the theme directory so I could give admin override).

Anyways, this all worked and my tables are way less cluttered - thanks MrB!

Yes. You can copy some pre-edited files from this thread http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/45.../#post49583387 and disable update during start for your PokerStars client.

Go to Finder and put that line in:
~/library/preferences/com.pokerstars.user.ini

Then add/edit 1st line to:
[Debug]
RunUpdateCheck=0

You'll need to set RunUpdateCheck=1 occasionally in order to keep up with current software features (or to restore default theme, cards) and then install your custom mod with disabling update again.
