Hi all,
I hope you guys can help me out with the reasoning for jamming or not jamming this spot. The following hand was played at a 15$ 27-180 Player on Stars. 9 places are paid so we are ITM already.
After adjusting the calling ranges of players left to act it shows that K3s would be a profitable jam in this particular spot. Assuming I adjusted the ranges correctly, we gain 0.04% of the price pool or an amount of 0.32$ on this particular jam.
Many other hands are marginally profitable jams (from +0.01 to 0.04%) as well in this particular spot, including: A3o, 54s,65s,76s,98s,T8s,T7s, J8s, J7s, Q7s-Q4s, K4s-K2s.
I am wondering if we always should take these spots and if not, what are the right reasons not for taking them?
What I can come up with myself is (1) we give up this spot to find more profitable spots later on, under the assumption we have a skill edge over the other players, and (2), to lower variance.
