New here to the husng forum so hey everyone.

I had villain on about a 60% open, he had cbet this size 4/4 times and gave up on the turn a few hands earlier but he was playing quite tight in general. Question is is this strong enough to get in in at this depth given the small amount of reads I have? or should I flat and hope for a dry turn to re-evaluate. Games a turbo on stars.

Thanks

well we are always gonna get this hand in that's for sure, as to the question how and at what point (f/t/r) depends on many things, hard to say with the specific board and hand - basically everything is fine aslong as we gii

ye we are def GII at some point but he is cbetting 100% and then giving up alot of turns? so i would c/c and lead alot of turns as he is likely to check back alot of the time and when we lead people generally dunno how to react to donk bets and spazz out alot/

I hate suckouts that are the result of passivity.

There are too many cards on the turn that could have you beat and he may call your push with overs, a draw, or even X9 or X4 if he puts you on a draw. Get it in.

Thanks everyone

c/r and gii otf was my original thought also for the reasons restorativejustice mentioned. Guess my play was good then.

Hey,

Yeh def. all in on the flop. The board is wet and when you shove he will prob call you with most X9 hands - A9, K9 etc. Also looks like you could be shoving with flush draw or straight draw so you may get called very light.

Some people will even call with mid pairs - 55, 66, 77 etc. and even bottom pairs.

Read this thread quite a few times and wondering if xr jam flop is not so good.

We are hoping to get called by worse than Jto, if villain has air he folds, calls with some 9x and 4x. Could we call down and allow bluffs to continue or will he see our stack size as committed and only vtown us if improved

Have you considered how often we will have to shut down ott, there are so many cards that we will put us in a tough situation. And every time this happens we lose a big chunk of our stack. By c/r jamming I think we entice villain to call with a draw or second pair, avoid tough turn decisions and if he folds we pick up a few bb's whilst our hand is likely ahead. After thinking it through I dont think I would jam with any less than a ten kicker.

If we take a call line otf, I doubt I'm ever folding the turn or river though.

I do agree that xr jamming is best, just looking at all options

Just gii now. He'll call it off with draws now, but he might not on the turn, unless he hits.
