I have played regular, turbo, and hyper turbo games. It seems that turbo is the best and most enjoyable form because the stacks are deep enough to allow for strategic play and the pace is quick and lively enough-unlike in a regular SNG.

As far as turbos and strategic play, they are great, but don't overlook hypers. The amount of play in short stack poker is a lot larger than anyone thought years ago, and the very quick pace can keep you quite interested. At the very least, study hyper turbo material, it'll improve your turbo winrate considerably.
