You'll probably laugh at that B12, but it's infinitely better than what you're doing if you care about the money you borrowed, blew, grinded up a little, didn't pay back, blew, etc.

You didn't make just one mistake like you said and when you play on a short roll with money instead of paying some of it back, how can you say you never thought you wouldn't be able to pay back? You just assume you won't ever have a reasonable downswing against some top players you continue to sit on short rolls? That makes no sense.

Having been ****ed more than once by so-called-friends who promised they'd pay back and never play higher, but eventually just disappearing, my hate for this scumbag is infinite. you do realize he just doesn't give a fly **** about his 'close friends'. Typical degen attitude.

I mean it's a matter of priorities and what forces have a stronger hold on the person, but... well you can easily argue that b12 seems to have a gambling problem. It's easy for those who have a good control on their degen impulse to pass judgement, and it's not untrue that his actions have been irresponsible and should be deemed so, but I'm not sure if it's useful to straight out call him scum. People get desperate. Maybe he just needs help.

Lots of people who do bad things don't plan on it. Sure they deserve censure and punishment, but it's also important to make it easy for them to accept said censure/punishment, and try make things right.

Anyway those involved probably know more about the details and can make more informed decisions as to how to get things to work out best for everyone than we do, that's all. Not sure just straight up calling him a scumbag is useful here.

b12 definitely needs to realize how badly he comes off here though. Sure it'll probably take ages for him to make good on his situation but when you make mistakes you just have to suck it up...

It is amazing to see how many players loan money to other pokerplayers and how many times they have problems to get that money back. If you loan 10K or 100K and you don't pay it back, you can end up in jail but in the pokercommunity a lot of players (that lost the money) are just disappointed and they move on. My advise would be: don't loan any money to other pokerplayers. Not even if they play high stakes or when you talked to them several times on skype.

I understand Berndsen is trying to make it right, but it is too late. He can't be sure he wins the money back he owes. He also said that the other players agreed he would play with the small roll he had left, but from Harthor's text i understand that isn't true. I understand tilting is part of poker, but criminal behavior isn't and that's what not paying depts is!

Berndsen try to get some respect back and pay the depts to all the players with interest!

That seems to be the standard. Those loans come with a sick vig, 1 out of every 10 people is like B12 or FrankThomas or many others.

I've played with him on 1/2$ CAP. I was sitting on 2/4 as well, but he sat at 1/2 so unfortunately it's not a good sign.
