Readless, beginning of a match. Do you always call here? It's important to get reads on his x/r game, so I think we should call pretty light here. How weak of a hand would you call here? Backdoors without over? One backdoor plus over?

Imo calling this x/r is way too loose out of reads. There are a ton of turn cards you have to fold or just have to call because you "have odds" and your equity improves. On the river you end up calling because you already invested half stack and "he might be bluffing with his missed draw" and lose too often there.

Also I think your hand is a good candidate to check back on this flop. If you want to try to catch a bluff it's becoming much cheaper.

I'd need to have quite a good draw to flat the x/r on this flop, or a good pair. Some backdoor with over is definitely not enough.

The main issue here is getting reads. At the beginning of the tournament it's relatively cheap to call and see how he continues after check-raising. In the Turbo Masters video pack I even heard someone say it's fine to call a x/r in the first hand with close to air. Although I don't agree on that, I think we should call pretty light. Ofc, if villain x/r for the first time in say 4 opportunities, we really need some legitimate hand.

The reason for cbetting this flop is about the same. I start cbetting close to 100%, to get cheap reads on his x/r tendencies, and start checking back such hands if he x/r somewhat frequently and continue to cbet hands like A high on most flops if he doesn't x/r often and folds to cbets too much.
