If a guy is literally raising 100% of buttons to 3x, and you move to 15/30 level, and he raises to 90, would you wait for a better hand than 67o to shove-steal, if its the first one you attempt?

I mean, is shove-stealing our best option, even, vs a 100% 3x'r?

I feel uncomfortable playing oop vs random range with 10-6, 4-9, q4 you get the point. Esp since opp seems aggro on flop and turn. So I'm not cool with calling.

Is waiting and 3betting better?

Why doesn't everyone play 4man HUSNG? Less rake than 2man.

I'm not sure if it's that simple. Using FT's $5+$0.40 4 man games, if a player loses every game, they are effectively paying 8% rake vs the usual 5% because there are no two games to play. If a player wins 100% of games it's 4% rake. I don't know the point where rake is equal and don't care to find out right now.

unless you're playing pokerstars microlimits :P

This might be wrong.

P = win percentage

Breakeven point for 5% rake =

P*4+(1-P)*8 = 5 (when you win the first game, rake is 4%, when you lose, rake is 8%)
4P+8-8P = 5
-4P = -3
P = -3/-4 = 0.75

So you'd need to win 75% of games to have rake less than 5%.

Yeah it's never as easy as it first looks. Although at Pokerstars micro it's the same rake for both 4man, 2man, 16man and 32man.

I'm pretty sure this is wrong. First you get to play one game for 5% rake, and then if you win, you play a game at doubled stakes for effectively 2.5% rake (you only play it ~1/2 of the time, but the stakes are doubled so that cancels out). Also Stars, Cake and most other major sites supporting 4mans have 5% rake, FT is the black sheep
