if i down to $1.5 the rake is too high and mi BR almost die.

I build my bankroll beginning with 1,5$, go back to it. In poker we sometimes have no choice but to go down a limit. It hurts, it feels like a waist of time but it's necessary.

Or you could find someone that would stake you, if you're part of a poker community or something you could look at doing that.

thinking about playing online poker again - I haven't played since Black Friday.

I used to always play $31.50/$50 HUSNGs on Full Tilt before Black Friday. Now I live in China and can play any site, is PokerStars the best right now? Does it take a lot longer to find a game than it used to?

Question is too general, but...

Think in terms of EV rather than try to win every hand. There is nothing wrong with giving up. There is luck in poker when it comes to all ins, but there is also luck in card distribution. If you flat oop and flop comes A82r through no fault of your own, you have arrived at one of the worst boards for your range and have to check fold a lot.

So in a similar sense, if villain is not folding much, then cbetting with hands that have zero equity is a bad idea. Also don't just auto cbet anything that has +ve expectation. There are often hands which have higher EV checked back even though betting is profitable.

Also it depends on later streets- is he folding to 2 barrels often? 3?

Red line is well above - going up steadily.
Green line is also going up but well 15-20bi under redline.

If red line is going up does that mean the lays against villain are good or can it still be I am getting outplayed?
Let me say it differently - does red line going up mean it's played ok over, let's say , 200 games?

Just an example to illustrate what none888 means.
10bb, you get AK from BB.
Villain shoves and you insta-call - villain has AJ.
You win.
Red line goes up. You made the correct play. Villain also made the correct play but their red line goes down because you showed up with a hand which dominates them.

200 games is a small sample and basically means nothing but surely the red line going up is nice and if it keeps doing that after 1-2k games it should really mean you're doing the things right.

I believe HM2 shows EV line in red? Since davido-tortelloni has not provided a pic, we can only guess. Perhaps he is running good (but under EV), for 200 games, perhaps he is running bad - maybe he is looking at NSD winnings which have little to do with buyins won

in pt you can change colours

i think my EV in pt4 was originally yellow. if he meant NSD, it's good to have it going up, it means you're doing good at bluffs and you're making more money by getting villain to fold than you lose by folding to villain's bets. at micros it's harder to have a positive NSD line than a positive SD line but I think both are achievable with good enough play, even vs that player pool. as for sample size, depends if it's 200 hypers or 200 regspeeds obv

1,5 if you are losing, 7 if you´re winning.

You shouldn´t aim for a winning. You should aim to play as good as possible and improve, then you can see if you won.

Hey.
I have question about starting husngs, how hard is HTHUsng to learn as a beginner compared to same limit STTs or cash($1.5 and NL2)? I have played poker for about 6 months now and i still havent exactly figuered out what format i like the most to put my full effort on. I dont like playing multiple formats at once. HU is the only format i havent rly played, i have tried MTT, MTTsng, STT and cash. Cash is the most favorite atm, but i would like to try husngs, hyper turbos to be exact. What would be better aproach for HTHUsngs, first learn turbos and then switch or go straight to HT. I have about 80 buyins for $1.5 limit.
My main point is, is it even possible to learn beating 1.5 HTHUsngs for poker beginner before going bust with my 80 buyin BR. Or should i first learn to beat some easier formats on a bit higher lvl? I am winning player on regular speed STT KOs 1.5, 3.5 limit but only played ~400 games there so its too early to tell.
